Our research is dedicated to innovating and enhancing mitochondrial genome editing technologies. We focus on reducing off-target effects and increasing precision to advance the field of mitochondrial genome editing.

      Application

We utilize mitochondrial editing technology in cells and artificial organs to simulate mitochondrial diseases. We also generate and analyze animal models for mitochondrial diseases.

         Therapeutic

We are advancing the development of mitochondrial genome editing treatments. Our focus encompasses both genome therapy and cell therapy, aiming to offer effective solutions for these conditions.

     Investigation

Using mitochondrial editing technology, we are studying the functions of mitochondrial genes and the correlations between mutations and phenotypes. Furthermore, we are exploring the mechanisms of complex mitochondrial genetics.
